A leading estate agent needed a seamless way to integrate their WordPress website with the Reapit CRM system. Previously, they had been using an older CRM system, but they required a transition to Reapit without disrupting their existing website structure.

The transition needed to be implemented in a way that ensured data accuracy, retained all functionalities and improved the efficiency of property listing updates.

To achieve this, I developed a bespoke WordPress plugin that automated data synchronisation between Reapit and their website while maintaining a smooth user experience.

Challenge

• The client needed to migrate from their old CRM to Reapit CRM without breaking the existing website.
• Property listings had to be updated every hour to ensure accuracy and reflect real-time changes.
• A daily housecleaning function was required to remove outdated listings and prevent clutter.
• A user-friendly dashboard was needed within WordPress to allow manual updates and display key property data.

Solution

To streamline the property management process, I developed a custom WordPress plugin that directly integrates with the Reapit API. Key features of the solution included:

  The plugin fetches real-time property listings, descriptions, images, and pricing from Reapit CRM and updates them on WordPress every hour.
• Seamless CRM Migration
  The integration ensured a smooth transition from Qube to Reapit while keeping the website structure intact.

  A scheduled job runs daily to remove outdated listings, keeping the database clean and accurate.
• Customisable Listing Display
  Properties are dynamically displayed with filtering and sorting options, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Admin Dashboard
  A custom dashboard within WordPress allows manual updates and displays key metrics such as the number of properties in WordPress vs. Reapit, last sync status, and error logs.
• Error Handling & Logging
  A robust logging system ensures that any API failures or data discrepancies are logged and flagged for review.

Conclusion

This custom-built WordPress plugin provided the real estate company with an automated, reliable and scalable solution for managing property listings.

The project not only ensured a smooth transition between CRM’s but also introduced key automation features to improve efficiency, data accuracy and lead generation.
